🧠 The basics

What is 1 credit?

A credit is the unit you spend when you ask an AI engine to generate something for you. Most simple generations cost 1 credit. More complex work (illustrated books, multi-format content packs, bulk PDF compiles) costs proportionally more — and the engine shows you the cost before you click generate.

💡 Transparency promise. Every engine in your dashboard shows the exact credit cost on the generate button (e.g. "Generate — 5 cr"). If a generation fails for any reason, your credits are automatically refunded. You never pay for failed runs.

You can stack credits from multiple sources. Monthly grants reset each cycle, but everything else (OTOs, quests, refills) never expires.

How a generation works

Open any AI engine from your dashboard. Set up your generation options (topic, niche, length, style).

The generate button shows the exact credit cost (e.g. "Generate — 5 cr"). You always know the price before you commit.

Generate & deduct
Click generate. Credits deduct only when generation succeeds. Failed runs are auto-refunded — you never pay for failures.

Your remaining credits show in the top-right of every dashboard page. Click for a full breakdown of monthly + refill pools.

Nothing dramatic. Your engines remain accessible — only the generation step is paused until you top up.

Common questions

Do credits roll over month to month?
No — monthly grant credits reset on your renewal date (use-it-or-lose-it for the monthly pool). However, refill pack credits and quest-earned credits never expire — they sit in your account permanently.
Are credits charged if a generation fails?
No. Failed generations (server error, content policy block, invalid input) are automatically refunded within seconds. You only pay for successful outputs.
Which gets spent first — monthly or refill credits?
Your monthly grant is spent first. Refill pack credits are only tapped when the monthly pool runs to zero. This maximises the value of both — you don't waste your never-expiring refills while monthly resets are still coming.
Can I see how many credits I've used this month?
Yes. Click your credit balance in the top-right of any dashboard page — a panel shows monthly pool used / remaining, refill pool balance, and recent generation history with credit costs per engine.
What happens to my credits if I cancel my subscription?
Your monthly grant credits expire at the end of your final paid billing period. But refill credits, OTO bonus credits, and quest credits remain in your account permanently — even after cancellation. You can come back later and they'll still be there.
Why does my plan show fewer credits than I expected?
Three common reasons: (1) some you've already used this cycle — check the credit panel for breakdown; (2) you're on the Free plan, which gets a small one-time starter balance, not Premium Monthly (15,000/mo); (3) a generation failed mid-flight and is still in the auto-refund queue (usually clears within 60 seconds).
Are there any engines that don't use credits?
Yes — utility engines like Logo · Favicon · Link · Emoji · Prompt Vault are free. Search across 100K PLR articles and 15,830 prompts costs nothing. Free utilities (QR generator, image sizer) are always free. Only AI generation actions consume credits.
Can I upgrade my plan and get more credits this month?
Yes. When you upgrade Monthly → Yearly, your new monthly allocation kicks in immediately. Pro-rated credit (for any unused portion of the previous plan) carries over.
Do Founder / Admin accounts have unlimited credits?
Yes — accounts with founder or admin role bypass credit metering entirely. This is for internal staff and a small group of grandfathered founders. Lifetime customers get 50,000/mo (a legacy plan, no longer sold), not unlimited.
Can I gift / transfer credits to another member?
Not currently. Credits are tied to your member account and can't be transferred. If you're an agency owner with multiple seats, contact support — we're working on a sub-account / team-billing feature.
How is the credit cost decided per engine?
Each engine's cost reflects its AI compute cost (Claude API tokens, image generation cost, etc.) plus a small margin for delivery. Simpler engines (1 cr) use lightweight models; heavier engines (10-30 cr) use long-context Claude calls and/or multiple image generations.
